Nosedive- Review

Nosedive is a Black Mirror episode that belongs to the branch of science fiction. The plot talks about a world which people rate each other and this punctuation can affect their status. The story takes place in an alternative world.

It starts with a girl called Lacie who is obsessed with her ratings. She needs to have way more points than the once that she already has to buy her dream house and she does everything possible to make people like her.

This attitude eventually brings her big problems. People start ratting her low until she doesn’t have in off points to do anything. The society doesn’t accept her punctuation and they put her throw lots of problems. They don’t let her take the plane to go to the wedding of her childhood best friend and they give her a very poor car which ends up dying.

She finally goes to the wedding doing auto-stop but it doesn’t end well.

What I like best about the episode is the way the actors represent how technology affects our lives. Is true that it has been a very big impact in our society but if it didn’t exist, life would be more difficult.

I also like the soundtrack, it has very good songs, and the name of the title because I considered it represent very well the episode.

On the contrary, what I like least is that it has been very repetitive. If there wouldn’t have been doing the same all the time I would have enjoyed more.

In conclusion, I liked a lot the episode and I will recommended everybody to see it because you realize how technology can hurt our lives. If you are bored at home, you should watch the episode.
