Informal Letter / Email - Anna Sainz

Dear friend Amelia,

Frist of all sorry for taking so long to answer your letter, lately I’ve been busy with exams. You know that I’m too bad at maths and I need a lot of time to study, fortunately the exam goes well, so I’m proud of myself.

Responding to your letter, I think you should go to Australia to visit your brother, he’s always telling you he miss you a lot and want to see you soon. You can work as dancer, trainer next year. I’ve been thinking about it and in my opinion you should go on surprise, since he loves surprises and he would be so happy when he realize the surprise is you.

Please update me about everything soon and don’t forget to say hi to your parents for me, I miss them so much. I hope we can see each other soon.

Yours lovingly,

Anna

Informal Letter / Email - Marina Mendiola

Hi Amelia,
It’s great to hear from you, I can’t believe how long it’s been since we last spoke!

Did I tell you that I’m dancing in the Dance quality team? It’s great, I have a lot of fun there and I’m also improving a lot, I hope you could came to see me this year, you will be impressed for my high level. The only bad thing is that I have to train a lots of days,  but that makes me better.

About your summer options, I believe that I will clearly have a favorite one, you should go to Australia. You’re brother can wait, but an opportunity that let you know a different culture and a lot of exotic things like kangaroos or koalas, maybe you won’t ever have one like that. I know that is hard to be so distanced with your brother but you must take that opportunity. In addition I would say that maybe you meet an Australian guy, maybe you fall in love and you finally stay there for the rest of your life, who knows...

All in all if you decide to go to Australia you should bring me a souvenir

Write soon!

Hi Amelia,

I have received your email, and I am glad you keep counting on me when you need advice or
help. I have been thinking what I would do in your place, and here is my opinion.

Personally, I think that you should do what you really want and feel that it's the best option for
you, and we both know that you are very excited about working as a dance coach. I know you
better that what you think, and if you are going to visit your brother as an obligation, because
you may feel that you have to do it or he would be mad, you are wrong. You have to take
advantage of your last teenage summers to enjoy them the most. In the future, you will have a
lot of time to be with your brother. I'm sure he will understand you. If you want to feel closer to
him, you can make video calls every night.

However, I will agree any of your decisions, and I will always support you don’t forget it. I feel
that, finally, anything you choose will be the correct option.
I miss you so much and I want to see you as soon as possible

Best wishes,
Andrea

Hello Amelia,
Thank you for writing me about your controversy, first of all I’m happy to know that you are well, it’s good to know about you. According to your situation of your vacations, personally, I believe that the correct option is go to Australia to see your brother, he should miss you, so I consider that is the correct option. You can be teacher in other situations, do what you want but I think you have to see your brother. I hope to see you soon, we must see the new movie of star wars!!! Kisses.

Hi Amelia! I hope you’re well. I’m writing because I understand that it must be a difficult decision and it was in case my opinion could help you a little.

Well I think the holidays are for enjoying, and if I were you, I would go to Australia with your brother without thinking. But I understand that you’re thinking of staying to work to help your parents financially or simply to pay your extra expenses. Although you can really work at any time of the year and in summer take advantage to go to visit your brother and stay with him and your parents, and spend time with him and your family.

Another option, which I think would be the one I would choose, would be to do both things the same summer. For example, you can be working as a dancer teacher all July and so you earn a little money and you’re entertaining. And in August, when your parents have a vacation, go to Australia all month and spend it with your family. This way you don’t have to choose just one option and you’re distracted all summer.

In conclusion, what I would do would be both in the same summer, but whatever you do it will surely be a fantastic summer. And you know, if you need more help, here I am!

INFORMAL LETTER/E-MAIL (Marta Navarro)

Dear Amelia,

I'm glad to hear from you.

I know that you're in a difficult situation, so that's why I'm writing to you. As you know I will finish high-school next year so I don't know how I will spend my next summer.

Personally, I think that you should spend your summer going on holidays to Australia because you haven't seen your brother in a long time and you must miss him. In addition, you ought to know that in June is winter there because Australia is in the south hemisphere, so you won't be able to enjoy going to the beach.

Furthermore, I believe that you will catch up with your brother and you will have a very good time there. Don't forget to do sightseen on your holiday!

Enjoy your prom.

Take care,

Marta Navarro

Informal Letter / Email

Dear Amelia,

How are you? I haven’t heard from you for ages! It’s great to hear from you. I hope you do well in high-school.

I’ve been thinking about what you told me in your letter and I think I have the solution. Both are ideas that look great but you will have to choose sooner or later. If I were you I would choose to go to Australia to visit my brother.

How long since you’ve seen him? Besides if you go to Australia, it’s like you’re on holiday, because you can also visit the country, in my opinion. Anyway working as a dance trainer for children, is an activity you love, but honestly, you can dance wherever you want, but you can’t visit your brother always.

In general, I want to tell you that it's your decision and you have to do what you like most, you know what is my decision.

Informal letter/E-mail JANA CONSUEGRA

Hi there,

It’s great to hear from you. I can’t believe it’s been a month since we last spoke and now you’re already planning your summer!

You asked me for advice and I must say it ain’t an easy decision. Personally, I believe that choosing to work is definitely the best option. Even though it would probably be hard to follow a strict schedule, you must keep in mind that because you like it and you are absolutely good at it, it won’t be very difficult. In addition, you will earn your own money as well as gain job experience.

All in all, I understand that going to see your brother could sound tempting. However, I feel that working as an instructor is far more indicated for you. Despite that, I am of the opinion that you should decide what you enjoy the most.

Let me know your decision.

Hugs,

Jana

Hello Amelia,

I hope that everything goes well, and that you finish the course with joy.
I have received your email, and I thought that I had to give you my opinion. I have seen that you have two very good proposals to make on your hollidays this year.

To start, I think that staying in the city working on what you like it’s a good idea, because you could earn a little bit of money. However, I think that what you should do is go to Australia to visit your brother, and to know and learn things from there. In my opinion it’s good to disconnect and enjoy getting to know other places that you may not have the opportunity to visit again.
I hope that my opinion has helped you to make the decision.

see you,

Mireia Tarragó

Hi Amelia,
How you doing? Hope y’all family are okay. Sorry about my delay, I’ve been disconnected for weeks but I hope I can help you anyways.
Personally, I think that both options are good but if I were you, I think you definitely should go to Australia with all the family. I think Australia it’s a beautiful place and very nice culture, you won’t have this opportunity once more. I understand the situation you’re having, I know you enjoy a lot training the kids, but you might understand that not always you are able to do this trips.
I hope I could help you, but anyways I insist that either are right decisions, don’t worry about it. Write me back when you decide it, hope to see you soon and enjoy whatever you choose.
Cheers mate.

Informal Letter / Email – Maria Alba

Hi Amelia,

How are you? How are you spending your latest hours before holydays?

I think you should spend half of the summer working as a dance trainer for children and the
other half of the summer in Australia with your brother. If you cannot, you will have to choose
between them. I know you love dancing and working with children, but it is true that you love
your brother, too. However, you will see your brother after he finishes his job there and you
might not find another job that you love. Furthermore, if you work this summer, you will have
money for going to University. I believe that your brother will understand you!!

This is the end of this email, but remember: You must do whatever you want without counting
on the others people opinion.

Write soon,
Maria

Informal Letter / Email – Emma García

Dear Amelia,

First of all, how are things with you? I hope you and your family are well!
You wanted to know my opinion about your summer holidays. It is clear to me: If I were you, I would choose the travel: Your brother is in Australia for only one year. Why not grasp this opportunity? I think you have to accept this great experience. You should travel to Australia because you can discover a new culture, and why not, meet new people! I understand that you would like to work as a dance trainer with the children, but I believe that you can work with them the next year or even the rest of the year.
Anyway, I think this is only my opinion, and you must choose whatever you believe! If you want, we can see each other this week and talk calmly about it.
Looking forward to hearing your news,

Emma.

Its great to hear from you. Sorry I haven’t written for so long but I was very busy. I hope that you finish the hight school with good marks!

In addition, I know that you have a lot of excitement for working as a dancer trainer but you don’t have to do it this year, you can’t wait to the next year. I think that see your brother is a great opportunity and you ought to use.

So, that’s is my opinion and I hope that can help you, obviously you can do whatever you want, must run, my father is calling me.

Dear, Amelia
I'm happy to hear about you again and knowing that you are doing well. I have been a little busy this day, so I couldn’t respond you earlier.
I know you are asking for my opinion because you are having some controversy about what to do this summer. It seems to me that you are so excited about these two options and you don’t know which one to pick. It is clear (to me) that you love to work as a dance trainer, but you might also love to see your brother, especially because you haven’t seen him in a long time.
To sum up, I think that both of these options are very good and you should you choose the option you are more excited for. So, whatever option you choose it will be positive. You have to enjoy your summer!
Keep in touch!
All the best,
Fatima

Informal Letter_Elena Gómez

Hi Amelia,

We haven’t seen each other for some years, I hope you are okay.

Your question was what you should do in summer, work as a dance trainer for children or visit your brother that has been working in Australia for one year, or am I wrong?

I can’t take this decision for you because I wouldn’t know what to do neither. The advice I give you is that you must do a list with the pros and cons that can help with the decision you have to take.
The pros of working as a dance trainer for children are that you love this activity, you will have fun with the children. In addition, the parents will pay you.
The pros of going to Australia to visit your brother are that you haven’t seen him for a year, you will visit a country and do turism.
The cons of working as a dance trainer for children are that I think you shouldn’t start working the moment after you graduate, you need a little bit of free time.
The cons of going to Australia to visit your brother are that you will lose money.

In my conclusion, I think you need to study these pros and cons and decide what is better for you.

I hope I helped you.
See you later,

Elena Gómez

Dear Amelia,
It was great to hear from you. How are you?
I’m writing in response to your recent ask about my opinion about your options to spend the
summer.
In my opinion, both options can be really good opportunities, it’s a really difficult decision
because unless the summer should be a period to relax and to try to disconnect, working on
something that you like and also you earn money it’s also a good option.
I would choose going on holidays to Australia, because this would be the best option to see
other cultures and new experiences. Also you could see your brother, I’m totally sure that you
miss him. As I said before, the summer is to stay chill, because the rest of the year it’s very
hard.
Now I must go to study.
Write soon!
Love,
Pau

Informal Letter / Email - Maria Toro

Hi Amelia,

I’m happy to know you’re good. Sorry for not answering you yesterday but I was busy trying to
delete some photos of my computer. I could have sent you some of both, but I finally forgot.

About your question, I think it’s not easy to choose between these two options. I’m sure that
both would be an incredible experience. From my point of view, you must choose the one you
feel like most to do. I know that dancing is almost what makes you live, but personally, going
to Australia is an exceptional opportunity. I believe you should go to Australia and discover the
country, their culture, and who knows, maybe there’s an excellent dance academy to spend
some days of the month you’ll stay there.

All in all, I feel it can be a good time to spend with your family, to enjoy of their company and
to strengthen your relation. To travel is a privilege, and you have to take advantage of it. That’s
what I would do.

Looking forward to seeing you soon, I really miss you.
Best regards,
Maria Toro.

INFORMAL LETTER - PAULA ROMANO

Hi Amelia,

How’s everything going? Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply, but I’ve been very busy these last days!

I see you are already planning your summer, that’s so exciting! Both options you have in mind sound great, but I think you should definitely go to Australia to visit your brother. He’s only going to be there for one year, so you ought to take this opportunity. It may be the only time you’ll be able to go to such an amazing place! Also, I know you love training children how to dance, but you’ve been doing that for the last two summers, don’t you think it’s time to change and do something new?

If you take my advice and go to Australia, you have to send me lots of pictures and say hi to your brother for me. I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time this summer with whatever you decide.

Hope you let me know what you decide!

Lots of love,
Paula

Dear Amelia
I’m to happy to hear from you. In the last letter you asked me a tough question. So I’ve been thinking and that is my opinion: You should choose with your heart, and to make it easier you could do a list with the positive and negative points of both options. Also I have some arguments about it.

I know how much you love dancing and I agree with you that accepting that work would be a great opportunity. You will also earn some money

In the other hand, traveling to Australia is a unique opportunity and you will learn a lot about it. In addition I know that you miss your brother. And the best part is that you will see many cute kangaroos!

So if I were in your place, I would definitely choose the travel to Australia. It is your decision but I hope this will be of help to you. Let me know what happens.
With love

Marta

Informal Letter - Elena Trujillo

Hi Amelia, how are you?

I hope you have finished the course with very good marks.

Speaking of what you told me in the previous email, I think the best idea would be to visit your brother, since you haven't seen him for a year. Your brother could take you on a tour of the city where he is and show you the coolest places and show you the best-known animals in the country. And so spend the summer with your brother and make up for lost time.

In addition, you can do the dance teacher job during the course, it would also help you to clear yourself after doing class and be able to do something you like.

I hope to see you soon.

Lots of love.
Elena.

Hi Amelia,
How’s it going? It’s great to hear from you, It’s been so long since we last spoke! Sorry I haven't written for so long, I’ve been pretty busy lately, but now I’m free to talk.
Answering your question, I think that you should go to Australia to visit your brother, first because it can be a very fun and amazing experience, also it’s been quite long since you last saw him and it would be great for you two to catch up and spend time together.
Also, he won’t be in Australia forever, and you can always work as a dance trainer next year, so I think that this might be the best opportunity.
I hope I have helped you and I know that whatever you choose will be fine and you will enjoy it.
We have to see each other soon! Must go now.
Lots of love,
