In a futuristic world, people qualify on a five-star scale using eye implants and mobile devices. This system causes relationships to not be sincere, because the more qualification, more economic stability and popularity you have.
Lacie is a young woman who lives with her brother Ryan. She has a rating of 4.2 and wants to achieve the highest score of 5.0. She tries to relate to highly qualified people, and sees a great opportunity to achieve her goal, when her childhood friend, Naomi, asks her to be a bridesmaid at her wedding, with many qualified guests. If she got high ratings, she would achieve her dream.
After a lot of trouble on his way to the wedding that gets his grades down, Naomi calls her up and tells her not to go. If I were she, I wouldn’t have gone to the wedding.
Lacie finally arrives, begins to say her speech. Guests rate her negatively, bringing her rating down to zero. Finally she ends up in a cell and they take the technology out of his eyes. If she hadn't got problems, she would have eyes technology now.
This chapter of black mirror represents today's society very well, but more futuristically. I really like this chapter, but I had seen it before.
