Nosedive is the first episode of the third season of the
British science fiction anthology series Black Mirror produced for netflix.
Each episode revolves around a group of people's personal lives and how
technology manipulates their behaviour.
The chapter is about
a society obsessed with the valuations of others, and they live by this score. Everyone
have a personal ranking of 1 to 5 stars. Lacie is the protagonist and she wants
to rent a flat but needs a higher score. If she had 4.5 stars instead of 4.2,
she would buy the flat. So she tries to increase the score but she fails and
drops it suddenly, because on the way to a friend's wedding where she was going
to get up the score she acts naturally, a little gargantuan and not perfect.
What I like the best is the main actress, I think that her
way of acting is very good and makes you connect more with the plot of the
story
The only fault i can find is the final scene . If I had
created the serie I would have ended it differently. I liked that the whole
society has changed since then.
In conclusion, if you are a teenager i will recommend the
serie to you, because we are at a stage where the opinions of others affect us
more.
