He spent a lot of her life living in Almeria, but she quit living there, as there weren't many resources to live. In she's early twenties, she moved with my grandfather to Barcelona to look for work. She didn't have an unconventional life, it was like that of most poor people.
In 2002, she had a stroke (ictus), a half of her body was paralyzed. At first, it cost her a lot to do things, but over time and much therapy, the mobility in the paralyzed area improved. Nowadays, she’s almost completely recovered, but she can’t move her right hand well.
I’m really proud of my grandmother, because she had to fight a lot. Our relationship is very good, she's a very sociable person and she's always happy. I think she's an strong women, and this is why I admire she.
